Apotheosis gem types are random. Yes and no. Some mobs have more of a chance dropping certain gems in certain locations . For example, Enderman apotheosis spawner in the overworld/mining dimension won't drop as much/no endersurge gems, but killing endermen in the end will make them drop endersurge more likely. Since the recent update, salvager can crush the gems into dust. Not sure if there's a way to make a mob farm that would get you the gems, but you can set up an apotheosis spawner with all max upgrades for fast spawn, max mob stack and no requirements for spawn and AI-less. One breaks items down into their rarity materials (ie epic, mythic etc ) while the other uses these materials, and gem dust ( obtained by dropping an anvil on gems) to change the affix of an item, and through that it's stats, effects, and gem slots. Best way to farm for Apotheosis gems? Also, do Mythic gems exist? So far I've only found up to Epic rarity. Modpack is Create Stellar.
