Even though the Uchigatana requires 14 strength and 14 dexterity it's best variant Normal+15 (In my opinion) has an A in dexterity with nothing in strength. Even looking at the other variants it's easy to conclude that this is primarily a dexterity weapon.

I just finished Dark Souls 3 a few days ago and absolutely loved it. It made me want to go back and play Dark Souls Remastered. I just have a quick question about the build I have in mind. For Dark Souls 3, I had a Dex/Faith build and was using the Sellsword Twinblades and eventually ended up buffing them with Lightning Blade. Can't equip Uchigatana! This is my first Souls game so go easy on me. I was told that the Uchigatana is a good weapon for early on, so I got that (after many attempts) and now I can't equip it, the "Use" option is greyed out. The stats for it aren't red anymore, my dexterity used to be too low but not anymore.
