Jul 30, 2007 · Went out to Taylorsville Lake tailwaters yesterday (Sunday). There was several people fishing, but none catching. I saw several catfish sneaking around in the shallows, but none would bite my lure. The tailwaters were alot shallower than I expected, I could see the bottom in some places. Hi Folks, Here is how I check how much water they are letting out at the tailwaters; -Click the 3rd button from the left at the top of this page that says fishing reports. -Select Kentucky fishing report. -Click on item in left column that says Daily Lakes Report. -Scroll down to find the tailwater you want to check.West Central Kentucky Tri Park.
